Data Master’s concept and approach to successful project management of ERP consultations and implementations is based upon the concept of concrete master data structures that are designed and managed to insure proper integration of applications which produce the operational transactions. A fundamental principle of our strategy for successful ERP projects is faciliting the client in understanding and establishing a governance for the project that includes responsiblity for the management of master data across the enterprise.
Our emphasis is to identify the tangible dollar value and the business advantages to employ a disciplined data architecture to draw from a common repository of synchronized master data built into operational business processes. This allows our skilled and experienced consultants to assist and document the business process requirements, design the blueprint and implement the ERP system suited for their business current operations and yet allows the flexibility for growth without increased cost of additional technology required.
The goal of most ERP projects is to achieve quality management information reports. Business master data must be designed, managed and stored into an integrated data repository from which all management information reports are produced. This same pool of data must have data integrity for use in all of the daily unrelated business transactions that occur in various maybe disparate legacy applications. As a result all processes designed and implemented include a controlled processed of master data maintenance with strict version controls that is accomplished with workflows that allows rapid business approval of changes. Master data is key to the planning and operation business processes and is the key to a structured business process.
